15 AAP councillors resign, form new political party

In Delhi, Aam Aadmi Party faced a setback. Fifteen municipal councilors resigned. They launched a new political party, Indraprastha Vikas Party. Hemchand Goel will lead the new party. Mukesh Goel, a former AAP leader, also joined. Councilors cited inability to do public work as the reason. Earlier, some AAP councilors defected to BJP. AAP withdrew from the mayoral race.
