2025 Met Gala stars shine, showcasing Black style for this year's theme

Guest curator and Barnard professor Monica Miller's book 'Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity' was the Met's inspiration for the gala on Monday – a theme years in the making, but now coincides with Donald Trump's recent efforts to quash institutional initiatives to promote diversity.
