2026 Municipal elections: Socialist-La France Insoumise alliances lead to mixed results
The Socialists managed to hold on to Paris, Marseille, Rennes, Montpellier, Lille and Nantes, but the right took Brest, Clermont-Ferrand, Tulle and Cherbourg. The radical-left La France Insoumise won Roubaix, after taking Saint-Denis in the first round.
