On Asia’s 50 best restaurants’ list, at number 46 currently, Indian Accent has since its opening in 2009 reinvented Indian traditional and regional recipes in ways no one imagined. Winner of several accolades, it is now being run by executive chef Shantanu Mehrotra, who is finding his place under the spotlight with new menus that pay homage to India’s rich culinary traditions. Mehrotra is candid as he talks of food, being the boss and juggling three restaurants in key markets of Delhi, Mumbai and New York.
