A new North Korean warship was damaged during its launch ceremony

On May 22, parts of a new 5,000-ton North Korean destroyer were crushed in an accident, caused by 'absolute carelessness, irresponsibility and unscientific empiricism,' according to leader Kim Jong Un. Analysts view the destroyer as a serious security threat, as it could enhance the country’s offensive and defensive capabilities.
