Artificial rain: First cloud-seeding trial conducted in parts of Delhi
The first cloud-seeding trial was conducted in parts of Delhi, including Burari and Karol Bagh, on Tuesday as part of efforts to curb air pollution, officials said. An aircraft from Kanpur carried out the exercise using silver iodide and sodium chloride to induce artificial rain.
