Asian Paints profit down 45% on muted demand
Asian Paints Q4 FY25 profit slumped 45% YoY to ₹692 crore due to muted demand, one-time losses, and higher ad spends. Net sales dropped 4.3%, margins shrank, and decorative paint revenue declined. Industrial business grew 6.1% while international operations faced macroeconomic headwinds.
