Assam govt speeds up SIR prep, BLO training soon

Assam is gearing up for Special Intensive Revision (SIR) with training for booth-level officers (BLO) expected soon. Chief Minister Sarma criticized Rahul Gandhi's opposition to SIR, stating it will help remove deceased individuals and married women from voter lists. The Election office is preparing BLOs for the revision process, focusing on new voter registration and deletion of ineligible voters.
