‘At least five fighters destroyed’: India’s Air Chief AP Singh details Operation Sindoor strike

Air Chief Marshal AP Singh, Chief of the Air Staff, detailed Operation Sindoor’s successes, confirming at least five fighter aircraft and one large ELINT or AEW&C aircraft were destroyed, marking the largest recorded surface-to-air kill at a distance of 300 kilometers. Significant damage was inflicted on Shahbaz Jacobabad airfield, including a partially destroyed F-16 hangar with damaged aircraft. Multiple command and control centers and six radars were also targeted and destroyed.
