BJP spent nearly Rs 1,500 crore, accounting for 45% of total 2024 election expenditure: ADR report

During the 2024 Lok Sabha election, the BJP spent nearly Rs 1,494 crore, constituting 44.56% of total election expenditure, according to ADR. Congress followed with Rs 620 crore. National parties collected Rs 6,930.246 crore, while regional parties received Rs 515.32 crore. Publicity topped expenses at Rs 2,008 crore, with travel at Rs 795 crore.
