Cabinet clears Assam, Tripura development packages, Rs 4,200 cr MERITE scheme & LPG relief
The Union Cabinet has approved significant proposals, including the MERITE scheme with a Rs 4,200 crore outlay to enhance technical education across 275 institutions. Additionally, Rs 30,000 crore will be allocated to PSU oil companies to offset LPG losses, ensuring uninterrupted supply.
