CAG finds 'serious loopholes' in CCTNS application in Odisha

The Comptroller and Auditor General of India found issues with Odisha's Crime and Criminal Tracking Network System. The audit revealed privacy breaches and lapses in investigations. Charge sheets were prepared by unauthorized officers. Missing children complaints lacked FIRs. Non-cognisable cases went unrecorded. Sensitive details of victims were exposed. Incorrect case closures were also reported.
