China imposes a tax on cognac but limits its scope
Beijing announced an average customs duty of 32.2% on imports of wine-based spirits from the European Union. Companies that comply with minimum prices negotiated with China − such as LVMH, Pernod Ricard and Rémy Cointreau − will be exempt.
