China, Pakistan agree with Kabul to expand CPEC to Afghanistan

China, Pakistan, and Afghanistan have agreed to extend the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) to Afghanistan, aiming to boost regional connectivity and development. The decision was made during a trilateral meeting in Beijing, where leaders also discussed enhancing diplomatic engagement and countering terrorism. This move signifies a deepening of cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative.
