Court orders airline to pay Rs 50,000 compensation to passengers for flight delay and not providing refreshments

Alliance Air Aviation has been held liable by the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission in southwest Delhi for a significant six-hour flight delay. The commission found the airline deficient in service, causing mental distress to passengers Mainawati Devi and Shakuntala Devi, who were traveling from New Delhi to Gorakhpur.
