Deep depression forms over Bay of Bengal off Andhra coast

A deep depression over the Bay of Bengal, 250 km east of Visakhapatnam, is moving north-northwestwards at 17 kmph. It is likely to cross Odisha and Andhra Pradesh coasts on October 2 night, bringing heavy rain, thunderstorms, and squally winds up to 60 kmph to several districts. Moderate rainfall is also forecast for other regions.
