Delhi govt works on new roadmap to tackle heatwaves

Faced with increasingly severe and prolonged summers, the Delhi government is developing a comprehensive long-term strategy to mitigate the impact of extreme heat on its residents. The plan includes strengthening building standards, retrofitting existing structures, and protecting the urban poor by identifying areas for shelters and shaded spaces.
