Divergence in GDP contribution between high, low income states worrisome: NITI Aayog VC

NITI Aayog Vice-Chairman Suman Bery discussed India's economic challenges. He noted a significant gap between high-income and low-income states. High-income states contributed 44 percent of GDP with 26 percent population. Low-income states generated 19 percent of GDP with 38 percent population. He suggested lagging states can grow faster. Some BIMARU states showed good performance.
