Ex. Sen Nicole Mitchell requests delay in upcoming court sentencing
Ex-Sen. Nicole Mitchell is set to appear in court Wednesday to be sentenced for her burglary conviction. But one of her three attorneys recently filed a motion asking for a delay in sentencing because he is “recovering from an illness.” She was found guilty July 18 and is expected to serve jail time.
