India’s GeM to open global tendering, allowing foreign suppliers in govt procurement. With a Rs 7 lakh crore target for FY26, GeM plans to enable rate and work contracts. Already adopted by all states and UTs, the platform is expanding its reach and boosting public procurement efficiency.
