From Ops Sindoor to Plane Crash: Monsoon Session ready for govt-oppn showdown

The 32-days long monsoon session of parliament is set to begin today on July 21. This parliament session may witness heated debate as opposition looks to confine Centre over Pahalgam terror attack, SIR of voter lists in Bihar. Just before commencement of 1st day of 5th session of 18th Parliament of Lok Sabha, PM Modi will brief media. The Modi Govt, a day before beginning of monsoon session, held an All-party meeting, to ensure swift function of both the Houses of Parliament. The meeting was called to seek cooperation from opposition for swift & smooth conduct of this session. Leaders from different political parties representing the Lok Sabha & Rajya Sabha attended the meeting.
