From railway expansion to shipbuilding reforms: Vaishnaw announces development projects worth Rs 94,000 crore

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs has approved development projects worth Rs 94,000 crore. These projects include the doubling of a railway line in Bihar, construction of a 4-lane highway section, and a productivity-linked bonus for railway employees. A significant package has also been approved to revitalize India's shipbuilding and maritime sector, focusing on shipbuilding, financing, and domestic capacity.
