Gold Gains as Dollar Softens But Its Heading for a Weekly Loss
Gold futures were rising in relatively thin trading as the U.S. dollar and Treasury yields were sliding. Futures were up 1.4% at $3,268.40 a troy ounce, but remained on-track for an overall weekly loss following a sharp sell-off in Thursday's session.
