Gujarat govt eases liquor rules: Non-Gujaratis, foreigners can drink at GIFT City by showing photo ID

Gujarat's GIFT City now allows non-residents and foreigners to consume liquor by showing a photo ID. The state government has removed the permit requirement for these individuals. Liquor can now be served in areas like lawns, pool sides, and terraces, not just designated dining spaces. GIFT City employees with permits can host visitors who will receive temporary permits.
