Gunman opens fire at Farooq Abdullah’s convoy in Jammu, leaders escape unharmed

A gunman opened fire at the convoy of National Conference (NC) president Farooq Abdullah on Sunday while he was returning from a marriage function in Jammu, officials said. Both Abdullah and Jammu and Kashmir Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary, who was travelling with him, escaped unharmed, PTI reported citing authorities.
