HAL receives fourth GE-F404-IN20 engine for LCA Mark-1 form US' GE Aerospace

GE Aerospace delivered the fourth F404-IN20 engine to HAL for India's LCA Mark 1A fighter jets, with 12 expected by year-end. Despite a 2021 deal for 99 engines, supply chain disruptions pushed deliveries to March 2025. The Indian Air Force plans to induct 352 Tejas aircraft, aiming for 30 aircraft annually by 2026-27.
