Heavy rains disrupt life in several parts of Karnataka, causing waterlogging, landslide

Karnataka faced disruptions due to heavy rains. Coastal areas experienced waterlogging and landslides. Dakshina Kannada received significant rainfall. Mangaluru and Udupi were severely affected. A landslide blocked National Highway-169. Authorities released water from Basavasagar Dam into the Krishna River. Emergency teams responded to the situation. The IMD has predicted continued rainfall. Public have been advised to avoid vulnerable areas.
