How Indian students can unlock Google’s Gemini AI Pro plan worth Rs 19,500 for free

Google has announced a free one-year AI Pro plan for college students in India. Usually priced at Rs 19,500, this plan unlocks tools like Gemini 2.5 Pro, Veo 3, Deep Research and NotebookLM, plus 2TB of storage. Students over 18 can use these tools for homework, research and exam prep. Registration closes on 15 September 2025. Google says 95 percent of Indian students using Gemini feel more confident, according to a joint Google-Kantar study.
