India Inc promoters holding slumps to 8-yr low in June qtr: Report

Promoters' ownership in private listed companies has hit an eight-year low, reaching 40.58% as of June 30, 2025, after significant share sales. While DIIs increased their stake to a record high, driven by mutual fund inflows, FII holdings dipped to a 13-year low despite net inflows. LIC's equity holdings also saw a slight decrease, despite net purchases during the quarter.
