India may procure additional batches of S-400 air defence systems

India is exploring procuring additional S-400 surface-to-air missile systems from Russia, given their proven effectiveness during Operation Sindoor. This potential acquisition, along with interest in S-500 systems, may be discussed during Russian President Vladimir Putin's December visit, building on the 2018 deal for five units.
