India test-fires Prithvi-II and Agni-1 ballistic missiles from Odisha range

Indias Defence Ministry confirmed the successful test-firing of two short-range ballistic missiles, Prithvi-II and Agni-1, from the Integrated Test Range in Chandipur, Odisha on 17 July. Both launches were carried out under the Strategic Forces Command and aimed at validating key operational and technical parameters. The Ministry said all systems performed as expected.
