India to add 100-150 satellites to enhance safety, security in 3 yrs: ISRO Chief

ISRO plans to add 100-150 satellites in three years to enhance border security and coastal surveillance, addressing the current inadequacy with only 55 satellites. This initiative follows space sector reforms allowing private player participation. ISRO also successfully performed a second satellite docking as part of its SpaDeX missions, joining the US, Russia, and China in achieving this feat.
