India’s BEL, France’s Safran launch equal-share JV to produce precision air-to-ground weapons

India, France team up to produce HAMMER weapons: India and France have partnered to manufacture HAMMER smart precision-guided air-to-ground weapons domestically. A joint venture between BEL and Safran Electronics & Defence will produce the modular, highly accurate weapon system in India, bolstering self-reliance and reducing import dependence.
