India's tank maker looking to go global, eyes partners

India's Armoured Vehicles Nigam (AVANI) is actively seeking global channel partners to export its armoured platforms, spares, and support services to Africa, West Asia, and Southeast Asia. This initiative aligns with the government's export growth policy, contributing to a massive surge in defence exports from erstwhile Ordnance Factory Board entities, now exceeding ₹3,545 crore.
