INS Mahe: All about Indian Navy’s newest anti-submarine warfare ship

India's Navy has commissioned INS Mahe, a new indigenous anti-submarine warfare vessel. This marks a significant step in India's self-reliance in defence manufacturing. The Mahe-class craft is designed for shallow waters, boosting coastal defence. It will help detect and neutralize hostile submarines. Eight such vessels are planned, with full induction expected by 2027.
