Gurgaon police exposed a Cambodia-based cybercrime ring where Khushi Chaudhary, 24, was arrested for scamming an 81-year-old woman of Rs 2.9 crore. Operating from Phnom Penh, the syndicate used staged calls, impersonating law enforcement to extort money. Victims were digitally arrested and coerced into transferring funds, which were then converted into cryptocurrency.
