Insolvency proceedings can not sidestep PMLA process: NCLT

The NCLT rejected the dissolution plea of Shakti Bhog Snacks, currently under ED investigation for money laundering, stating it would impede the ED's investigation and recovery of crime proceeds. The tribunal emphasized that allowing dissolution would constitute judicial overreach, especially with a special PMLA Court already cognisant of the matter.
