ISRO successfully launches US’ BlueBird Block-2 satellite; heaviest payload launched by LVM3 from India

Indias Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on Wednesday sent the 6,100 kg Bluebird Block-2 satellite into Low Earth Orbit aboard its LVM3-M6 rocket, marking the heaviest payload in LVM3 history. The mission, part of a commercial agreement between ISROs NewSpace India Ltd and US-based AST SpaceMobile, aims to provide global high-speed cellular broadband directly to smartphones.
