Jane Street complies with Sebi, deposits Rs 4,840 crore in escrow account

Jane Street Group has deposited 48.4 billion rupees in an escrow account. This action follows an order from the Securities and Exchange Board of India. The regulator had temporarily banned the trading firm from the Indian market. The ban was due to allegations of index manipulation. Jane Street denies these allegations.
