Jefferies' Chris Wood cuts India weightage in portfolio. Here's why

Jefferies strategist Christopher Wood has reduced Indias weighting in his Asia portfolio, citing heavy global investor positioning in AI-linked stocks in North Asia. In his latest GREED & Fear note, he said the rally in semiconductors has boosted Taiwan and Koreas share in the MSCI EM index, dragging Indias weight down to 13.1%, its lowest since March 2023.
