Karur stampede: Court remands TVK functionary Paun Raju to judicial custody till Oct 14

A stampede at TVK chief Vijay's rally in Karur on September 27 tragically claimed 41 lives, including women and children. Functionaries Paun Raju and Mathiyazhagan were arrested and remanded for their role in arranging the event. Following the tragedy, both BJP and the Chief Minister initiated probes and called for stricter guidelines for public gatherings.
