Kasturirangan towering figure in India's scientific, educational journey: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday paid tribute to former ISRO chairman K Kasturirangan, who passed away in Bengaluru at the age of 84. Remembering him as a pivotal figure in India's scientific and educational development, Modi said Kasturirangans leadership at ISRO from 1994 to 2003 elevated Indias space programme to international prominence.
