Keith Urban 'numb' after being snubbed by daughter Sunday Rose

Urban was said to be ‘numb’ after Sunday Rose failed to credit him in an interview (Picture: Christopher Polk/Penske Media via Getty Images) Singer Keith Urban is said to be ‘heartbroken’ after Sunday Rose – his eldest daughter with ex-wife Nicole Kidman – failed to mention him in an interview where she praised her mother for the role she has played in her life. Speaking to Elle Australia for its March edition, the 17-year-old model described Kidman as being one of the biggest creative inspirations in her life. ‘My mum is someone who has always been so creative and my biggest inspiration in life,’ Sunday Rose told the publication. ‘She is a key part of everything I do.’ Sunday Rose heaped praise on her mother in the interview (Picture: Victor Boyko/Getty Images) She added that the best piece of advice the Babygirl actress had given her was ‘to always be on time’. However, there was no mention of her country singer father — who split from Kidman last year after 19 years of marriage. ‘Keith doesn’t know what to say, but he’s trying to put on a brave front,’ a source told New Idea. ‘He knows he has to be patient; however, this latest snub – so publicly, there in black and white – has stumped him. Discovery) Keith and Nicole tied the knot in June 2006 and, as well as Sunday Rose, the pair are also parents to younger daughter Faith Margaret, 14. It was confirmed in September last year that they had split, with their custody agreement being revealed the following month. Their parenting plan revealed that Nicole will take the girls for the majority of the time, with some weekends spent with their dad. Special occasions have also been divided, with the girls spending Mother’s Day and Easter with Kidman, while Urban has them for Father’s Day and during Thanksgiving. A source previously told the publication: ‘Of course Keith wants more time with them. Kidman, meanwhile, took to the red carpet at the Oscars on Sunday night, where she joined her Moulin Rouge co-star Ewan McGregor to present the award for best picture. Her new TV series Scarpetta is also proving popular in the Amazon Prime charts, soaring into the top 10 just days after release.
