Kiev: US and Ukraine agree on 'most important' points in peace plan

Washington and Kiev have reached an agreement on the most important points of the plan put forward by the United States to end the war in Ukraine, according to a senior Ukrainian official on Tuesday. "Our delegations reached a common understanding on the core terms of the agreement discussed in Geneva," said Rustem Umerov, a former defence minister who is now secretary of Ukraine's National Security and Defence Council and a member of his country's negotiating team.
