Lt Gen Rajiv Ghai appointed Deputy Chief of Army Staff (Strategy)

Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai, previously involved in ceasefire negotiations with Pakistan, has been appointed as the Deputy Chief of Army Staff (Strategy), while continuing as DGMO. This new role oversees crucial operations and intelligence directorates. Earlier this year, he assessed the security situation in Manipur and was awarded the Uttam Yudh Seva Medal for his distinguished service.
