Man dubbed ‘China’s Nostradamus’ predicted Trump–Iran war — his next forecast alarms many

Chinese-Canadian historian Jiang Xueqin, often referred to as “Chinas Nostradamus,” gained viral attention for accurately forecasting Donald Trumps return to the U.S. presidency and a conflict with Iran. In his 2024 lecture “The Iran Trap,” Jiang cautioned that military action against Iran would face challenges due to geography, domestic resistance, and Irans proxy networks like Hamas and Hezbollah. He emphasized that U.S. strategies risk failure and that sending ground troops would worsen the situation, stating, “The United States military is not designed to fight a 21st-century war.”
