Marco Rubio impersonator used AI to message high-level officials, report says
The Secretary of State's office says an imposter used AI and messaging tools to pose as Rubio and contact high-level US and foreign officials, US media reported on Tuesday, July 8. The FBI said multiple attemps have been made to impersonate senior US officials in order to target their contacts since April.
