Markets muted: Nifty struggling below 25,900, Sensex down 100 points; Cipla down 3%

Indian equity benchmarks, Sensex and Nifty, started Friday’s session with a slight decline. The Nifty Bank index also opened higher. Traders are eyeing Nifty’s record high and are hopeful for US tariff cuts on Indian imports. However, oil prices, US-China trade tensions, and FIIs turning net sellers could cap the upside.
