Meta, YouTube found liable in social media addiction case
Meta and YouTube have been found liable in a lawsuit brought by a 20-year-old and her mother who accused the companies of intentionally designing addictive platforms that she says caused her develop anxiety, body dysmorphia and suicidal thoughts. CNN’s Clare Duffy reports on the landmark case.
