Monsoon withdraws from flood-ravaged Punjab, neighbouring Haryana

The southwest monsoon has withdrawn from Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh after causing devastating floods in the region. Punjab experienced its highest rainfall in 25 years, leading to significant crop damage and claiming 57 lives. Currently, maximum temperatures are above normal, and dry weather is expected to prevail in the coming days.
